30 Day Drawing Challenge - Day 7: Your favourite word.

I found this one really tough. I went through “celestial”, “constellation”, and “abominable” before settling on “eldritch” whilst listening to the best podcast.

Here’s what I came up with in my sketchbook:

This is a scene from “The Shadow Over Innsmouth” by H.P. Lovecraft. That guy used the word eldritch all the time! In this terrifying bit, our hero Robert is fleeing his hotel room, which is under attack by the fish-like residents of Innsmouth. BRRRR! Sure is eldritch.

But then I decided to do something with zombies, so here’s some undead pets emerging from my garden. It’s something different, at least.

Next up, favourite animated character! Finally, an easy one…hmmmm…
